Strengthening the Church
The intention of this study is to identify and document the ‘key’ and really important areas that any church needs to focus on, including a brief guide as to how these can be pursued and implemented.
The research for this study is based only on the New Testament – that is the Gospels, Acts and Epistles. This is intentional as the “Christian Church” was instigated by Jesus during His time on earth and later founded by His disciples after He returned to the Father.
It is not exhaustive in its findings or in the suggestions which are included. The latter are given to hopefully assist any church strengthen areas they have identified that could benefit from further attention.
The results from the research into what are the foundations of an ‘optimum church’ and suggestions as to how they can be pursued and implemented are documented in the following sections.

Ray commenced Biblical studies in 1996. At the conclusion of his studies he felt called to ‘strengthen the church’. He was subsequently led to attend a number of different churches, helping in various capacities. In 2023 he believed he was in a position to research and commence writing on the subject of ‘strengthening the church.’ Ray lives in Brisbane Australia.
